Sylvan Spirit Healing

       I began my spiritual path during a particularly rough time of my life. While dealing with an unhealthy relationship and living situation, I was scrolling through YouTube videos to help myself fall asleep when I came across a video from a channel called Spirit Science that got me thinking about the world and life in a whole new light.

       I then became a spiritual sponge, searching out and soaking up all the information I could. Something about all of it just felt so right. It reminded me of how much I loved crystals and gemstones as a kid, how enthralled I was by the ancient Greeks and Egyptians, and how much I loved learning about the different gods and goddesses from all over the world. A few months after that, I encountered Alan Pratt. He had a big hand in opening me up further to the galactic energies around me, and has been a great supporter and mentor since.

       Somewhere along the line in my research, I read about how getting attuned to Reiki energy could help you connect more strongly with your spirit guides. So, after much searching for the right fit and waiting for the timing to work out, I received my Reiki I & II attunements while out in San Diego. I had no intention of using Reiki to help heal other people. I only wanted that stronger connection to my guides to help me along my path in life.

       The Universe though, had other plans. I was gently, but very deliberately and persistently steered into situations where I could use the energy to help people. Once I started doing that, I felt the energy and what it was capable of. Once I felt that, I saw that I might be able to actually help some of the unhappy and unhealthy people in the world, and in doing so help to make the world a better, more loving place. Once I saw that glimmer of hope, I was hooked.

       I felt a call and a passion for this work like I hadn't felt since I discovered my love for dance and the stage when I was a child. I went back into sponge mode. I built up my crystal collection and started incorporating the stones into my healings. I got my final attunement to become a Reiki Master, met Elissa Bentsen who instructed me in Soul Trauma Healing, and became certified in Karuna Reiki® levels I & II. Through Alan's guidance, I also began exploring the world of intuitive sound healing and channeling light languages for even more powerful healing, which is still one of my strongest passions in this work.

       The most recent leg of my journey started in the beginning of 2016, after the universe jumped through several hoops and pulled more than a few strings so that I could cross paths with Barbara Segura. She introduced me to the Modern Mystery School, where I learned the Life Activation and Aura Healing, and has been my teacher and guide on my path there .

       I'm now very grateful to be able to perform these beautiful modalities for all beings in need of healing, and I look forward to whatever the Universe has in store for me next.
